Save Ocean Avenue Committee
Save Ocean Avenue is a subcommittee of the Long Branch Coalition of Condominium Associations. Founded specifically for the purpose of overturning Resolution 130-7, which would have enabled the Mayor and City Council to make changed to the status of Ocean Avenue.Fortunately, and mostly because of the efforts of Save Ocean Ave and their many supporters, the Mayor has decided to rescind Resolution 130-7. This will become official at the city council meeting of August 14, 2007.
The Save Ocean Ave organization has decided to continue to work for the improvement of Ocean Avenue with the goal of making it one of the best greenways in America by working with the city of Long Branch and various state organizations to formulate and execute a plan to make it great.
